Outsmarting the Snow

If there is snow in the forecast (and the forecast seems to be somewhat reliable), try to stay ahead of the inconvenience left by the aftermath with these tips:
(Side Note= I hope all the teachers have enjoyed the (snow-less) snow day!)

- If you don't have a garage, put a tarp over your windshield (secured with bungee cords), so that when you do need to get your car out, you can pull out the tarp and not have to spend so much time dealing with the snow and ice on your windshield. Jason does this all the time.

- Be sure to take your scraper out of your car before it snows. It's so sad to have to uncover your car with your hands just to get to the scraper.

- Have your snow shovel and salt/de-icer handy. Did you know that shoveling snow can burn 400 calories an hour??
