If you don't already recycle your used ink cartridges, here's a chance to make both the Earth and your wallet happy.
Office Max pays you $3 in MaxPerks Rewards for each ink or toner cartridges that you return to them. You can return up to 20 in a month. You'll get a statement via e-mail letting you know how much you've earned and you'll need to print it to give to the cashier when checking out. They accept lots of different brand names, and you don't have to purchase the cartridge from Office Max to get the reward.
You do have to be a member of their MaxPerks (or Teacher Rewards) program to have an account set up. It's painless to do. Check out the link below for more info:
